I am starting to look at incubators and was wondering what is a good brand and model to start out with. I would like to stay under or around 200-250 dollars. whats my choices? Jason
I bought 2 of the black commercial chicks at TSC which i believe are black sex links and both are supposed to be pullets but one makes me think now that it could be a Roo. what do you think?
Chick #1 Is this one a roo
Chick #2 I'm pretty sure is a pullet
These two EE's are both straight run chicks can somebody tell if they will both be pullets? they are 4 weeks old i hope there both pullets. Jason
this is bird #1
This is bird #2
I looked on the hatcheries website where they came from and they only carry black sex link. The only other chicks close to this they carry is california grey leghorn and the light brahma. So it must be the leghorn. Thanks for the answers.
Ok this is my last mystery chick out of the assorted rooster box what breed is he?
he has one white tip feather on each wing other than that all yellow in color. My first guess was white plymouth rock but they said they did not order any white plymouth rocks. They thought it was either a buff...
I think my camera flash lightened the color of my rooster up. he is dark black on top, yellow around the eyes and yellow under the neck and his belly is white-gray.
Yes it has brown or gold on the wings. They just started getting brown or gold on the tips. this chick was in an assorted plymouth rock pullet box when i bought them.
