    first time incubating, first set of eggs went in about an hour ago

    I am using a Little Giant Incubator & opted to hand turn rather than use the turner. I have 28 eggs in the incubator, but am worried b/c when I hand turn, the temp drops 5+ degrees in spite my turning the eggs as quickly as possible. Is this OK?? Also, the thermometer reads 99.5 laying flat...
