Duck eggs causing me stomach pain?

As an update to my original post on being sensitive/allergic to the duck eggs. I did have to stop eating them completely. Change of feed or how I cooked them made no difference. I did notice that if I froze the baked good, example banana bread I could tolerate it. I believe the proteins break...

Quote: I'll try to hit them all. Whoo..... I use Blue Seal Feed exclusively. I don't suppliment niacin, and have never had an issue. I feed the ducks when they are let out in the am. During the winter months I give them a little more in the afternoon. They never finish off the afternoon...

Duck eggs causing me stomach pain?

Thank you all for the suggestions. I'm 99 percent sure it's the eggs. However, I've been having ulcer symptoms for sometime. Maybe even as long as I've been eating the eggs. I did go to the doctor and they are treating me for ulcer. My stomach is feeling better. I have never had a food allergy...

Your ducks are adorable. I hope it's okay to add a pic of my own. Winter has arrived here in Vermont also. My girls and my one guy, coincidently named Ollie seem to be adjusting well. This is their first time too.

stained eggshell. Could it be blood?

This morning I found an egg that had been layed in the morning. It's shell had a blood/fluid coating on it. It looked more like rust. It had dried to the eggshell. I have no idea which of my four Khakis layed this. What could be going on? Is this normal? I wouldn't think so. Anyone have any...

    Second hen started laying !

Congratulations. All four of my Khakis are now laying. The first one on Oct 2 and the last one just this past week. With a few sputters here and there, they were each about a week apart. All Khakis are the same age.
