    I am getting onto the Vitamin B so thanks for that! is it too late to brace his legs and make a shoe as i did when he was 2 days old? I can't find any info on older birds with this problem. I tried moving the tendon but had no luck.... his leg feels solid with nothing moving unlike the youtube...

    Hi everyone Healy, my guinea fowl was the only one who hatched out of a group of eggs. He was born with a splay leg, I made him a boot and straightened his toes which seemed to work. Now he is about 8 weeks old and his leg is giving him problems ...in my eyes at least. He seems to have no grip...

    I have popped him in the brooder with my other newborn but he is just lying there. I think its up to nature now, but i really hope he makes it. Ive done everything I can. I lost one last night and I really don't want to see the same thing happen, so thanks for your advice :)

    Ps it was born feet first so I helped remove the shell. Temp is 37.4 and humidity 72 and it can't seem to get off its side, but moves its legs etc.

    Thanks again !! I have done as you suggested and added a small container of rice to see if that will reduce humidity. I shall keep you informed. Hope the other eggs in the incubator will be ok.....always something to worry about haha.
