new hatchling dying? Help please

If you have another incubator put it there! And then yo go on feed him some egg yolk...

He is refusing both egg yolk and water.

Your humidity is still too high for the other eggs hatching..... Lower it to 60% or 65%

Im really trying but both rice and paper towels haven't helped. Not sure what else i can do.

Does the chick feel at all slimy or any crispy areas in her down? I ask because if she has egg goop on her at all, she will not dry out and fluff up but will instead end up stuck in her own feathers, hampering her ability to move/stand. A very gentle warm rinse with the aid of q tips if necessary and then a pat dry with kitchen towel, then back in the incubator to fluff up may help. Also, do you have nutridrops? They are little miracle workers for weak chicks. Dip her beak in a drop held on your finger and let her drink it or at least swallow down what's on her beak. If dipping doesn't work, then sometimes a drip along the crack of the beak (avoiding nostrils!) may work better.

Hint: Before assisting a chick that is hatching, allow them to get their beak out of the shell(called pipping) for approximately 24 hours before intervention. Also, lowering the temperature 1-2° when humidity is 60-65 can help. Think of it this way, how would you be breathing during a midsummer heatwave with high humidity?? Since you can't turn the temperature down by more than 2-3°, it makes sense to adjust the moisture level to a reasonable level. Just remember: the higher the temperature, the lower the humidity (and vise versa). Also, to lower moisture level...OPEN the vents!
