    Looks to me like a silver laced wyandotte but I'm not a chicken expert. Sorry just noted the comb and wyandottes don't have combs at least that's what I've been told, but also they do throw combs sometimes.

    I was hoping it was something they can overcome with no ill effects. I did have one other one like this and he got better but it took about a month or so, he just held his head back when he drank. And I hoping its not hereditary, but if it is I won't breed.     None have zipped by themselves. I left them in since yesterday and i figured today they needed help. The 2 that have peeped I'll leave til in the morning then decide weather they need help also but hopefully not.

    The humidity is 69% right now. I just spritz the eggs again, i have one peeped that looks like it perked up when i did that.

    Yes, when they peep they are dry on the inside, the membrane that has the blood veins is dry. I have added water and have sprayed a mist on the eggs. I have a humidity gauge that I can put in and will.

    I am having to hatch chicks because they are dry inside I would rather not do this can I spray them with a squirt bottle since eggs are porous? I have added water but some of it leaked out I don't think there is much I can do. Any help appreciated...
