For the first few days, chicks feed off of where they hatched from. They probably still have a good amount of yolk and nutrients in their bodies. Just be sure that they have bedding so that they can be comfy.

I leave water and food inside of the coop. Chickens should constantly have something to eat. They don’t really have mealtimes, but whenever they get hungry, they just eat.

What color is your egg and what breed and how many chickens do you have?

It is very hard to sex a silkie... normally silkie ownerss wait until they crow or lay an egg.
