    When it gets really hot, I go to the store and get either a block or bag of ice. I set it in their run and they like to peck at it and lay agienst:) it to cool them down. :)

    So, I live in Michigan where they have found traces of the bird flu. I have 6 ISA Browns. They are 17 weeks old. I live on a dead end dirt road and they have an enclosed run. I'm not sure if I should be worried about it or not. Aldo, what are some signs and symptoms?

    Do chickens usually lay their eggs around the same time every day? Mine layed their first and second eggs Friday and Saturday around 11a.m. Still waiting for one today.
