My hens are around 15 weeks old now and i was wondering what the tell tale signs are of when they will be ready to lay? Here are a few recent pics of the ladies. Can anyone help me?

You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for all your feedback. I was hoping they were little ladies :) Wont lay till spring though?? That would make them over a year old...is that normal for a chicken to be a yr old before they start laying? they are nearly 4 months now, spring is 9 months away...

I've had these chickens for nearly 4 months now and i still have no idea what sex they are...could they be roosters? or what breed for that matter. I picked them up from my son's daycare and was given no information about them except that the golden ones tend to be female..is this right...
