I hatched a peep this morning that has yet to absorb the yolk sac. I know it will absorb in time... but was wondering if its ok to take out of the incubator and put in the brooder box with the rest, before it's completely absorbed?

Try a few drops of poly-vi-sol everyday. If it's gonna help at all, you should see results in less than a week. I currently have 2 chicks on the poly-vi-sol for a similar problem. The one went down, and once I put her on the drops, she was back up on her feet in 6 days.

I have a 4 week old chick that all of a sudden quit standing and walking. She seems to stick her legs out in all different directions. She is still ok otherwise, eating drinking, pooping etc. I've read up on leg issues with very young chicks (1 - 2 days old), but haven't seen much on older ones...
You are going to wanna make sure you keep them separated until they are completely healed. If you put them back in before then, even with a scab, they will just end up picking it to death. I had a 10 week old roo that had a hole in the side of his neck from a hen attack. I let him heal...
