i'm 17 and raising my second batch of chicks. last time i had 3 barred rock hens but they sad got eaten by raccoons. this time i have 1 Easter egger (Oliv), 1 Australorp (Tulip), 1 Golden sex link (Amber rose) and 1 Salmon faverolle (Antoinette). they are not a big fan of me but i still love them.:)

oh no, their water is in a very sort ( 0.7 inch) cardboard box. they love sleeping on the box. so no worry there. i didn't know i should change their water that often. i think i change it every week. oops. we had a thermometer and then it broke. my car is in the shop for another week or so but...

They live in a cardboard box that is 2.5 by 3.2 feet. there beding wood pelts but ill be changing it to something else because i don't like it. 1/3 of the box is their food and water. i put their 1 gal. plastic waterier in a box that they can easily jump over. i was tired of them getting stuff...

hello, they are eating drinking pooping etc normally. they walk around nominally. so it doesn't seem like they are to cold or hot but the weird thing is they are trying to jump out of the box. i have tried moving the light to different spots but they don't care, they want out. i do let them walk...

My chicken's toe looks twisted and bent. She is about 10 weeks old. I'd not noticed this before. It doesn't look like it's causing her any pain but I don't want it to become a problem for her later. Should I be concerned or is this normal? What, if anything, should I do about it? I tried...
