Honestly, I'm sure its fine. I'm no expert though. I've only kept chickens for about a year now.
My last baby hatched at some point during the night! That's 10 for 10! :celebrate I'm so excited! I will be moving the dryer ones to a brooder today!
#8 and #9 are here!:woot Just one more late bloomer. I was so scared to incubate. My husband had to talk me into it. I didn't want to kill any babies! I'm glad in turned out well.
Its so fun to watch those babies hatch! I was watching them all day like :pop
Thank you! We have actually hatched three more since this morning and everybody seems to be doing really great!:weee I also have two more unzipping and one more pip. So far I'm happy with the turn out.
During all of my research on incubation there were so many ways to hatch at the end and I...
So today is day 21 and so far two beauties have made their appearance! :weee I have 10 in the bator and 9 have pipped! Here are the first two! :jumpy

We are incubating some eggs with his genetics. I think he's so pretty and hoped he had some easter egger. We chose some eggs from one of our girls that lays a greenish egg in the hopes to make more colored egg layers. Its our first hatch ever and everything has gone perfectly so far and its day...
I tried to get a straight shot of his head but he wouldn't cooperate. Lol! I've never seen a buttercup comb before! He has three rows on his comb, the middle being the tallest. I thought it looked like a pea comb but I have no idea. :idunno I'll check it out!
After looking a pictures of Cayuga ducks I can definitely see that in her! Her name is Mo because her feathers stand up in a mohawk when she's mad. :lau
She's black. I was trying to take her picture when my other Runner decided to photo bomb! Lol! :lau She's the one squatting in the back. She's a lot more grumpy and a lot less shy than or other girls.
I picked this strange egg out of our duck nest. We just got added a newbie to our flock so I'm assuming its hers since we haven't seen any like this before but is this normal? :hu
