    Did you happen to notice any feathers nearby? Predators are quick and sneaky. Does the run have a covering or is it open? Hawks are still capable of handling chicks that size. I hope this isn't the case.

    Nope Nettie, no feathery feet. Aside from being pretty are sebrights nice? Since you have some what are they like ... are they moody or sweet? I read that they have little bitty eggs and no meat but are good show chickens ... is that true?
