Maybe it was just lighting. The chicken is doing very well. Has drank about 8oz in the past couple days along with around 1 cup of food. Much more active and no longer wobbly. When can we move her back out?
Our chicken seems to be doing quite well. But we have been beginning to notice rather greenish colored poop. Could this be a sign of internal bleeding?
A couple days ago our 10 chickens were free roaming. A fox that we haven't ever had problems with before fatally attacked one chicken and injured another. The injured chicken is a little white americana. It is a hen. We caught the fox with the white chicken in its mouth. We have since separated...
I could be in the wrong thread... Anyways. We have 10 girls, 6 Red sexlinks, 2 black, and 2 Americanas. Originally we had only planned for 6 birds, but since we got the original ones we found that we didn't have enough. I just recently finished building the coop. I have posted some pictures...
Well thank you! The base is actually just a re-constructed large dog house. We just ripped the roof off and moved some boards.
As far as the bottom in the inside; it's just wood-pattern linoleum. I cleaned thier starter cage that had cardboard at the bottom. Won't make that mistake again. :)...
Chicken #1
Chicken #2
They both seem to have darker feet than my red sex links. I'm fine with having Easter eggers. Just hoping for some egg variety! :)
Help. I just bought 2 "americanas" from the store. I wanted a darker one but this is all they had and all they were going to get. Any ideas as to what they actually are? I just want coloured eggs. The girls are so light.
