    im in northern SA, im in a larger city, But in an older part of town where the blocks are still quite big. Ive got a whole section of our yard that we dont use so plenty of room. Also there is an empty block next to us and the neighbours are a fair way from us so the roosters dont bother anyone...

    Egg w/completely DETACHED/BROKEN aircell-Alive on day 17!

    im my recent hatch i had one egg that had a detached air cell and despite me proping it up to try and get it to develop it didnt. I wasnt holding out much hope but to my suprise it pipped through and with a little bit of helped hatched into a healthy baby chick. You just never know!

    And good news too!! The hen came home! She must have been hiding very very well in the backyard somewhere, I left the house gate open over night so she could get back in, and when i came out this morning they were all out in the backyard, including the missing hen
