    Chick not walking?

She's doing ok. She does not walk at all so this has made her a indoor chicken. She will be three months old on the 27 th of July and still looks like she's under a month old. Not sure how her future looks but she makes all kinds of noise. I feel bad for her it's no life for a chicken. But I...

    Messed up leg

To understand her story it takes a bit of reading. Meet our little chick born on April 27th. She had a rough start in life starting with her having seizures on day 3 of her life and then lasting about 4 days. She had them back to back. It broke my heart I did not think she would make it. But...

    New ducklings wont eat

New chicks and ducks do that. The stress from being packed and shipped is exhausting. See how they do tomorrow and let me know. They really don't have to eat for 72 hrs after hatching.

    Splayed leg help!!!

I think it can take between 3 and 7 days just depends. You can try to remove the bandage carefully and see how she's doing if it has not worked add the bandage back and wait a few more days. They don't like having it on but it is the best thing for them. Let me know if she walks

    Chick with cold?

Does it look more. Like she is gagging? Is she eating or drinking? Make sure if she's not eating or drinking you are offering it with a dropper. Raw egg yolk with water and a very small amount of Apple cider vinegar is a good nutritious food. Not too much with the egg yolk and water a drop or...

    Please Help

Keeping the chick hydrated is the most important thing. Egg yolks are a good thing to feed them. Vitamin B is something you might think about getting in her diet too. I have been helping one of my chicks with feeding. I have to get up in the night about every 3 hrs to make sure she is not hungry...

    New baby not eating

Sorry for your loss. I had one pass a week ago and have another that was having seizures but she's doing better. Not easy but raw egg yolks as far as nutrition is the best option for chick that won't eat. I am feeding mine that right now egg yolk with a bit of water to make it easier to swallow...

    Splayed leg help!!!

Yeah I heard pipe cleaners, rubber bands and straws. This was one that worked best for her. I tried the bandaid one but her leg never got straight with that treatment. This one has improved her about 90%. Her just being able to stand is a awesome improvement.

This is a picture of my treatment method. She is not liking this one bit. She is not walking or standing she just flops around and peeps. Some of the time she lays with her legs back so I feel like it's not effective. This is just day one but has anyone had success with the makeup sponge method ????
