You did everything you could and she would have known nothing but love during her short time with you.
 
I appreciated all the help with my last sick chick. I have another chick born a few days after Khloe passed. She was a bit early but was fine the first few days. She started having seizures and they lasted a couple days now she is fine. But because she was laid up for so long she developed splayed legs. She is not responding well to the treatment. She lays around and peeps. How is this method effective if she's not even standing because the sponge is so uncomfortable for her? I will post a pic of what it looks like.

I am sorry you lost your chick. I had one get packed all over the tail. it is doing well at one week. It did not get packed until it was over a week old. I am not sure what prompted it, but she is doing well at this point. I have her separated from the flock now as well. She is lonely, but recovering well.
