I bought some clover seed for this purpose, thinking it would be good to mix with some grass seed.
There was already quire a bit of clover in the yard last year but I don't really care if its grass, clover, alfalfa, etc. Im just happy to see green. :yesss:

The weather is starting to turn around and I don't believe that I will see any more snow this year.(At least not anything more than a dusting on a few odd days)

I would imagine you would be able to butt another one of the kennels up to the gate and match the gates together coop and just take the gates off and take one of those gates and put it somewhere on the outer perimeter for you to access.

Good point, that crossed my mind too. I could see a disaster if the ears were to ever drag in any snow and/or get wet, the way the wind whips in my area, probably a bad combination in sub freezing temps....
No need to apologize. I love reading all of this stuff. It keeps me busy when its slow at work. (I work overnights, which is why I have a hard time keeping up with the conversations cause Im usually asleep when all the action is happening lol.)

I use an old Hova-Bator. They are just the styrofoam incubators with the wafer thermostat in them. I turn the eggs by hand 3, sometimes 4 times a day.
The incubators are only like $50 for the base model
