    Winter Weather Advisory HELP

Hey guys! So I have two backyard chickens right now - yep just two. We had more but a dog got into the yard and these little hens are the remainder, we almost just had one but Red pulled through. Sexing RIR

I am starting to doubt whether this little one is a hen or a roo! I was convinced she was a hen, but my husband is saying differently. She is approximately 5-6 months old. She is not crowing but also not producing eggs. Is it too early for either?

When can I put them outside?

My pullets are about 5 or 6 weeks old and are fully feathered. They have been spending daytime in their coop and I've been bringing them in at night, but when should I be able to leave them out all night? The temps at night average low 40s, mid 30s.

    Canola?

Am I able to feed the feathered kids canola sprouts or blooms? My hubby comes home covered in seeds (he works at a grain elevator) and they grow like crazy! I cant feed the seeds themselves as some are treated.

What breed and gender is this baby?

I recently picked up some chicks from the local feed store and grabbed one out of the "mixed box", but I cant seem to figure out what breed it is. It appears to be an Easter Egger from what i can tell, any opinions? I would also like some opinions on gender if yall can guess it! It is the grey...
