    Help! Temp too high.

All 32 of mine were from Kentucky, but I have to say they were packaged beautifully and all made it without a mark. I live in Canada and I am certain the freezing temps and mail handlers and machines had a lot to do with my problem. As much as I really want this last egg to hatch, it will be...

    Help! Temp too high.

Nothing hatched. One made it to the end but failed to pip. The second batch same thing. Shipped eggs were scrambled. One made it to the end but had the feet stuck above the head and could not pip. I have my last batch in and again only one looks like it is developing. Day 8. I am anxious...

    Silkie doesn't seem right!

Thank you so much for the help. The chicks are going to be vaccinated. I will do some more research with this info and links.

    Day 23! Dilemma.

I have one Silkie Egg on day 23. Candled and don't see internal pip but might see movement. Water test shows slight tremor or jiggle. Jiggles a bit when it hears me chirping. Humidity is good. Temps were maybe a bit low during the 21 days, but not serious. No external pips. Getting...

    Silkie doesn't seem right!

Silkie passed away and necropsy confirmed Marek's. I still have one Silkie roo in my basement in the same pen, but not showing signs and older than she was. I also have eggs incubating upstairs. And chicks ordered for spring when it is warmer. I plan to build a nice house outside for them...

    Silkie doesn't seem right!

Thank you so much. I live in Canada but we do have an Agricultural College here in the province that might offer that service. I have sent a message to them for information on having that done. I am also racking my brain on where to get the vaccine and how to organize here for the best...

    Silkie doesn't seem right!

I found her nearly unresponsive this morning and unable to move at all. Her wings were limp and her legs were cold and lifeless. I had to euthanize her so it is not a good day! One question on my mind is what if it is Marek's? Her and the roo are the only two I have, but I have eggs that I...

    Silkie doesn't seem right!

This "might be" a link to a video of her off balance and also one of her in a coma state after being fed. My guess is stress triggers it. Please ignore the brown tint to her head. This was caused by my early attempts to give her vitamins last week. I have it down pat now. I do feel like the...

    Silkie doesn't seem right!

Originally she was troubled with shaking her head and gaping her mouth. That went away. Now it is mostly balance and sleeping coma like when I am trying to feed her. I am going to try to upload a picture of her holding her neck. I am also trying to do some short video's to link to.

    Silkie doesn't seem right!

I still need help. She has no balance at all and is always sleeping or sitting on her bum. Very off balance. Goes into a coma when I handle her to give her vitamins. She does eat like she is starved when encouraged to. Neck is constantly curled into a snug S shape, and she fights if I try...

Also no more gaping her neck or shaking her head.

    Silkie doesn't seem right!

Thanks so much for your help! Update on her tonight. I have caught her eating her feed and I gave her some scrambled eggs and she ate them. Still not interested in drinking. Her balance is really bad and she gets around slowly. Most of the time has her neck pulled in resting and bobbing up...

    Silkie doesn't seem right!

I did it! Not too bad to hold her in a towel. I did some electrolytes, antibiotic, and polivisol. Mixed with some water. Wasn't sure how much or how often, but got some in! I also put her in hrer own small cosy coop next to the roo.
