Another update. I isolated her and she finally pooped. There are what looks like little black worms in her poop? Couldn't get a photo of exactly what i am referring to but here's a photo of the poop.
So after speaking with Wilco Farm Store where i got the pullets they say that they do not get their chicks vaccinated against coccidosis so the medicated feed should be protecting against it. They suggested that she might be stressed after the move outside and the colder night time temperatures...
I've got 6 chickens that are now about 6 weeks old. I just recently brought them outside from their brooder downstairs. The coop has "flock fresh" bedding which is chopped straw and alfalfa. The run is mainly bare ground with some sand and some grass and weeds. I am feeding medicated starter...
Yeah, i am kind of wishing i built it a little shorter but the pallets stacked up to that height so nicely lol. I do plan to give it some slope to drain though. It won't be flat. I'm thinking I'll be able to get about 4inches of decline over the 8ft. Might not be enough.
I can get a photo up tomorrow. But in the first picture I posted you can see the two side walls and the front wall laying on the ground with the roof on top of it. If you can just imagine the third wall secured on the front instead of on the ground- that is what I've got!

Looking for advice. I've built an 8'x12' coop out of pallets and i am very happy with how it came out. I just have to add the door and roof and figure out the run area. I think I am realizing that it needs to be more secure but probably cannot afford to put hardware cloth across the whole thing...
