    Thanks for all the wonderful information. Im hearing a pretty clear BR at number 1 and if i go with a second roo the RIR. I guess i didnt realize just how big the BR would be. Makes me very happy to know i have lots of options also. Thanks again eveyone!

    I had to go to work today and the baby ducking that was rescued/given to me was left at home by himself all day. He had access to plenty of chick starter and water. But temps reached index of 100. I have no idea how to tell if he is eating or not or drinking or not. Im worried he may not be...

    About how old until you can get a good idea on the temperament? And will i need to seperate them before I can truely tell thier temperament, or will the need to seperate them come around the same time as their personalities are showing? Just trying to decide if i should go ahead and setup...

    They are still pretty young to have a great idea of how well they will be handled. The leghorn is about 8-10 weeks and the barred rock and rir are about 2-3 weeks behind him. Im perfectly ok with them being skittish of me, not looking for a buddy. But interested to see if anyone had an opinion...
