    Haha! That is a pretty creative way to teach responsibility. Sadly won't work for me. Sheriff did come and issue them a warning. Unfortunately it wasn't successful as the dog got out again yesterday and killed chickens down the road from me.

    No they didn't offer anything. We could've called the sheriff (no animal control where we live).     Yes we can legally shoot the dog if its on our property. I am more angry at the owner for being irresponsible. We live in a small community just outside of town, so shooting anything wouldn't be a good idea.

    My hubs got home before I did and went to chat with them. He was much more kind than I would have been about it. He told them that if he sees the dog of leash and around that he will take care of it himself.
