    Silkie Coloring

    Hey all! I have a cutie baby that just hatched and havent found a comparable chick to get a good guess on eventual coloring. Any opinions? Mom is partridge and I have two roos, solid white and solid black. Baby is grey with white wing tips, toe feathers and the cutest white booty.

    6 Week Old Mystery Mixes

    Well, I was sold a dozen of silkie and frizzle mix eggs, and a dozen of "polish mixes." All Hatched May 18th. My temp was off in the incubator and we had a pretty horrible hatch. I have 12 babies, but some just appear a little off! Usually I get about 70% Hens. This time... Not so sure...

    HELP baby turkeys eating each others beaks

    Missouri had avian flu hit turkeys to my knowledge. Not sure if you're near there, but I'm glad I got mine months ago. My first solution to random ailments is adding some sugar to water. If not wheezing or any discernible ailment, try that. Maybe someone else would know more. Hope all is well.

    Turkey poults dying

    Hope your turks are doing well, I was devastated when I had similar happen with shipped chicks. 20 of 26 were DOA. It's very hard. But the sugar water works miracles. It's why many of my birds are alive today, including the ones a couple inches from me now in the brooder. :)
