    Thanks for all your replies! I plan on keeping him as a pet, so i'll feed him a little under 27%. He's doing good and is very talkive =] Guess he'll stay locked up in our old chicken coop untill he gets used to being here! thanks for the help! =]

    Chicken clicking his beak?

    I just got a five wk old rooster from one of my friends, and he's clicking his beak. I've never had one this young and was wondering if this is normal? I've got over twenty and have never heard this. Do some chickens do that or could it be a problem?

    eye problem PICS

    One of my hens had this problem. I was told to use some meds you buy at the feed store, but it never helped any. I didn't seprate her from the other chicken (i only had two at the time) thinking it was just a cold, and she would be ok, but she only has one eye now because it would never heal up...

    why are some of them ginormous and some are tiny?*Now with Pics!*

    I have eight baby chicks and i bought them at the local stock sale and they all turned out different sizes. They aren't all the same breed. They are about a month old and one is huge, which one looks like a baby chick. Hope this helps =]
