thanks for the link, none of those poops look like our poops.
they're totally round, maybe some oval. not moving and all over but not covering the poop.
i'll just watch and see if it comes back again, then I'll get a pic.
thanks again!
I purchased a couple new hens this weekend. They're both just about laying age.
I noticed a pile of poop that has little round specs (larger then grains of sugar) in it, all over it.
Could this be worm eggs? What do you think it could be?
One of them has oozing eyes and I'm going to start them...
ok great, thanks for the advice.
I'll probably just treat all of them since they've been together all weekend.
How long should I wait to start eating their eggs?
thanks again, i really appreciate any advice!
Hello, this weekend my husband I and purchased two hens that are just about laying age. When we got them home we noticed that one of them had a shut eye that appeared injured. We let her be because we thought that maybe she was injured in transport.
Over the weekend the eye slowly opened back...
Thank you for the reply and for the links, I'll check them out for sure. I spoke to the boys dad (I thought he was a grown up) and found out that they were ill so I'm just gonna hold off and keep looking. Thanks again tho!
I have finally found someone with Ameraucana hens close to where I live.
They're 16 months old and the fellow says he thinks they have been molting because they stopped laying about two months and their feathers are just starting to grow back in.
does this sound right? is it normal for them to...
Hello, I've had a very hard time finding easter eggers or ameraucanas that are laying age where I live, in Crossville Tn.
If you have any available or know where I can find a few (I only want about 4) please let me know.
Thank you!!
