Yes she could have gotten into water that was standing for about a week. All other ducks are completely fine, they share the same pen as well. They've been on the same feed their whole "teenage" life, it is the Organic Egg Layer Pellets.

I'm thinking about adding sand instead of straw into my duck's run they stay in at night. What are the pro and cons of using sand? Is it safe for my ducks to drill in the sand? I don't want it to cause health problems if they accidentally ingest the sand... Thanks ahead of time!

That sounds awesome! My Welshes started molting In November and I haven't seen a single egg since :( One reason why I got Welshes is because they are supposed to lay all year, rain, shine, snow, and I'm just not getting that.

Georgia, where I live, we get about 10 hours of daylight. But, we are about to have a time change that will give us an extra hour of daylight!

Hello! Their diet is organic, their health is great, they are over a year old, and their stress is minimum. Any advice would be extremely helpful! This is what I use for my dewormer: It acts as a natural dewormer. Overdose or overuse cannot cause harm.
