    I lost a pullet to the weather.......

    My other chickens did great. They stayed in their coops. I was scared for them. But the only thing that happened to them is they stopped laying all together! The road I live on in Claypool was really iced over and not too many people could drive on it! I wish I could post pics of my coop frozen...

    No... She froze solid. I am so glad I didn't see her. My hubby did and took care of her. I would have lost it and balled my eyes out if I saw her.

    The weather got really bad here in northern Indiana. I thought she would be better off in the gradge. Then we lost Electricity and she froze in my gradge. I am so upset!

    Thank you all so much. My friends and I are getting together today to see what we can come up with. Then we are going to the pastor and talk to him. Its Christmas and If all we can give is eggs well then darnit. EGGS IT IS!!!!

    Leah- Thats funny. But so true! I just wish I had a silkie.lol. I can't wait for mine to go broody this spring. If they will. I want them to hatch eggs. I wanna see the babies running around. They keep me bussy. Now I don't have to have anymore babies. My girls do it for me..lol.
