Moldy mulch help
I got a truck load of fresh mulch a week ago for my covered run and its now extremely moldy. If I take it all out? What do I replace it with? The ground below is all dirt. Help.- MotherCluck44

2 week old silkie unable to stand
They curl when its relaxed but it can strsighten them. This whole thing is so weird. All I can think is a vitamin deficiency.- MotherCluck44

2 week old silkie unable to stand
about 2 weeks ago I got 5 silkies, an olive egger and 2 midnight majesty maran. Everyone was fine until about 4 or 5 days ago i noticed one silkie wasn't coming out to eat or drink with the others. Week old chick unable to stand or move on its own
the partridge is the problem chick. Its in with one midnight majesty maran that is about 5 days old. Come to think of it the silkie is over 2 weeks old. But anyways, there is rooster booster in the water which is vit electrolytes and probiotics in one. It absolutely won't eat but it will drink...- MotherCluck44

Week old chick unable to stand or move on its own
I got 5 silkie chicks a week or so ago. One of them is now half the size of the rest, unable to walk aroubd or stand up in its own. I have to take it to the water to make it drink and it will dip its beak. Otherwise its just staying under the heat because it can't move obviously. This doesn't...- MotherCluck44

this is my very first rooster. He is a 12 week old buff orpington. I notice when he lays or roots, his comb, wattles and lobes turn very pale..is this normal?- MotherCluck44

Sapphire gem or sapphire olive eggers
Beautiful chick! Their bin of sapphires were alllll shades of greys with mixed in yellow. That's why I wondered if they would be the OE since they're mixed I'd imagine the colors varied more. As with a pure, I'd imagine they were more within a specific range of colors. They were sold as pullets...- MotherCluck44

The people at my tsc arent the most organized. I bought three EE from them and they had no idea what they were at all... and a orpington" pullet" who is in fact a rooster. When looking at the pictures of the chicks, they looked more like sapphire olive eggers to me. But I'd never had either...- MotherCluck44
