Automatic Chicken Door
I have the pullet-Shut door for three years and have not had any problems. I have the solar charger and the light sensor that opens and closes at dawn and dusk.- mrballance

Yes, That's a problem. My coop is in the Shed. I have separate places to have traps. What u should try is to put the trap in a small cage inside the coop. That way the rodents can get to it , But not the Girls.- mrballance

Well, The ticks and Snakes are not coming out today !! How do you all deal with mice ( Rats) . I set traps that have peanut butter on them. They work pretty good. Most of the rodents come in to avoid the cold I think.- mrballance

how often to gather eggs?
That should not be a problem as long as it's not freezing in the coop. Eggs will stay good for up to 3 Mo if kept from getting too Cold or too Hot and not washed.- mrballance
