I have five different breeds but all brown egg layers. I don't know how to tell the eggs apart. I guess that I will just start keeping them in the fridge to see if that helps. They taste fine but they just have to turn into scrambled instead of fried. :)
Any other comments bring them on!
Any ideas of why some of my eggs the yolks are nice and firm but some of them are loose and just break so easily? It's hard to make a pretty fried egg when the yolk won't stay intact. comments anyone? and thanks
My galvanized waterer like sold at Tractor Supply is rusting. Is there something I can coat it with to be able to continue using it? Or are these only supposed to last a year or two? Thanks for all suggestions.

I actually do both. Fermented feed in the morning and sprouts in the evening and chicken layer feed free choice. I like variety and I thought maybe they would too!
