Hello, I got these 2 as part of mcmurray hatchery homesteaders package. They're a month old as of yesterday, I believe they are African Geese but am unsure. I will say they are very talkative, hopefully it's a male and female but they are both very close in size.

If you are worried about temperature what was it? Shade available? Access to water? It's been hot where I am and have seen signs of heat exhaustion but in other parts of the country it has been significantly warmer so depending on location heat could be factor.

Thanks for everyone's input. I am new to the game and thought the feathered feet implied cochin. He is a handsome fellow and a sweet bird but rather dumb... Any suggestions on how to get him to integrate with chickens? Any chance my main rooster has him to timid? I have 19 hens for 1 rooster...
