    I use the metal stuff coated with the plastic.... strong, and works great!

    I am drawing up plans for next year, I have a person paying for flight pens if he can have the bobs! It's the best agreement ever! Anyway, I was thinking that I could build large, 50-100 bird pens for Coturnix and just match up the number of females to males... what do you think?

    I would say get another one.... or fifty! Just make sure they don't have any diseases, quarntine them for the necessary amount of time, but once they get to know each other it should work out well!

    Best temperature for Coturnix?

    I was thinking of heating my 10x10 quail barn for the winter, but I don't want to set it too high otherwise I'll be burning my money! Or should I just add more light to kick start laying again, and forget the heat? Will they lay okay? The barn is totally enclosed, just not heated. Thanks!
