Well I fed her a good bit of crushed egg and banana. I also checked the vent and it seemed totally normal no swelling or redness I cleaned it off and around it. Immediately after a lot of liquid came out and and she now seems happy and is scratching and eating and drinking. Hoping it’s over...
Here’s a better pick of what we’re dealing with. She’s going into the nest box now trying to get it out. I’m just worried about hurting if I try to get it out myself. I’ll try it if that’s what y’all think is best.
This is now hanging from the vent. I don’t know if there’s anyway she can make it and obviously don’t want her to suffer. Would you suggest we just cull or is there any hope.
