    Thanks for asking about the little chick, guys. The umbilical cord fell off and it seemed okay with that. It ended up having curly toes. I made it corrective shoes out of Band-Aids but some time between 5 and 7 this morning it died. I guess it just wasn't meant to survive after all. Pics:

    Good luck! I wrapped our little one snuggly in that warm cloth and put her back in the bator. She seems just fine. A little fighter. Maybe I'll name her after a boxer or something.

    Thank you. There were 12 originally but only 9 made it to lockdown. I credit the shipper, a friend from a few states over. They did a great job packing them.

The membrane was getting tough and leathery so little by little(mmxmm) I peeled off she'll and outer membrane just to see and ran into a spot where I could see a vein so I threw another wet sponge in and set it back on the warm, wet rag...
