Pecky's Page!
Hey there, My name is Chloe and I am a fifteen year old Canadian Girl. I have six chickens, two cats and a dog that you can learn about later. (:
I am in grade 10 in highschool, and I maintain a good average...
My six chickens are Rhode Island Reds !
Under Construction!
A little more description for my story.
Blacky and Meany were attacked by a dog.
Blacky is making a good recovery and shes just another one in the group when I let all my chickens go out free-range.
I have been keeping Blacky and Meany in the shed so the other chickens cannot hurt them.
Meany...
2 of my chickens were attacked by a dog, one chicken has made a seemingly well recovery. She is like one of the pack again.
The other chicken doesn't look so good, she says in the shed (where I have been keeping the two sick chickens) almost all day, and she hasn't been eating much except for...
Considering this is a chicken lovers website, I am curious of how many of you actually eat the chickens you raise.
Has raising chickens actually made any of you become vegetarians?
I checked for eggs today and I found a sticky mess in one of the nests, there was a yolk and egg whites but no shell..
My chickens already have calcium in their food... Whats wrong with them?
I would suggest you just suck it up and go in, i'm sure your birds life is more important then spiders.
If you do look, I would look in the nooks and cranies, because the chickens usually hide under things or in the corners to try and stay safe.
I am sorry if someone already answered this, but I just had 2 chickens attacked by a dog, and they both were hiding from me, and I could not get them. If you couldn't find the bird, then it is most likely hiding. Just keep looking! You may find your bird alive. =/
One of my chickens was attacked by a dog, and we have been keeping her in the shed away from the other chickens to keep them from hurting her more.
Today the dog attacked another one of my chickens, and I was wondering if it is okay to keep the two chickens together?
We separated the first...
Yepp we thought it was calcium problems. We have a very nice feed seller man that has all organic food for our chickens, that is perfect for laying hens. (:
But what about the chickens chasing me? xD
I think its adorable, is it normal?
I plan to take picture tomorrow of all the chickens!
But, how do you make those page things? I would love to put my little story up their, and all the pictures. ^-^
