    OK I know it is still really early to tell and I am a first time chicken owner.These 2 are almost 5 weeks old. I am guessing the Partridge is pullet (fingers crossed) and the Splash? (supposed to be white) probably cockerel. What do you think?

    My 2 Silkies. Obviously no idea on the gender but fingers crossed for females. The white one is developing slower than the partridge one but I think it may be almost a week younger too. Whitey does not even have any tail feathers yet.

    New to BYC and the world of being owned by chickens

    Hi everyone. I am new to the world of chickens and am enjoying every moment. My chickens are house pets for the most part as I live in the city. I have 2 Mille Fleur pullets and 2 younger unsexed Silkies (one white and one partridge). I sure hope the Silkies end up being girls....fingers...
