    I’ve had this what I thought was a hen for over two years. Has never crowed but it sure looks like a rooster to me. Opinions??

    I definitely will when I get home from work today.. But I did make deviled eggs with most them yesterday. I can say when cutting into it there was barely a gray spot on yolk. But I will get more pictures later. I'm glad to know my d'uccle is a female. I've always thought she was.

    I’m like 99% sure .. if I do there all older than 1 yr now and none crow.. several months ago I did have a Roo but we gave him away because I didn’t want any Roo’s...

    What’s in my egg??

    I cracked open this egg a minute ago and this is what I saw? It’s the size of an oat. Which they haven’t had. What could it be? Also I have no roosters!

    I posted a while back when they were probably a week old on breeds and I did have responses. Now they are eight weeks old and I’m not sure of breeds because they’ve changed so much.. sorry multiple pics hard to keep track downloading from my phone. Ps. I do know one is a cockerel :)

    How long do they last sitting out compared to refrigeration?? Also with leaving them out does it make any difference in cooking?

    Curious, Do you refrigerate your eggs or leave them out on the counter. I never knew til recently that you could leave them out on counter. Are there any certain reason why people prefer this??
