Bad vocals can definately ruin a good song. A lot of new metal have those completely brutal vocals that make me think of a dinosaur having a bowel movement. I don't understand the appeal of that.......but to each his own.- punkychicken

As far as live shows go, Silverchair (now disbanded) :( were awesome. Saw them 3 times, Smashing Pumpkins were impressive although Billy Corgan is a pompous ***. Main Monkey Business is unreal. Probably my favorite Rush song written and recorded while they were in their early fifties, goes to show that some people were just born to rock.
