I have not observed him picking at his legs at all - no sign of him being bothered by them. So maybe this is his "normal". They just look awefully darn sore to me! Thanks!

I checked his nether regions and they are definitely red as well. And his cloaca (vent?) is quite crusted. No sign of any wildlife, though. Maybe it is just that time of the year for him... He is a bit over a year old now. Thanks for the feedback!
