In honor of the day....
Here is my flock....
The first set of pics are the older group.
The babies...pic'd here with the straw...still get picked on pretty regularly...
Here's a video of all of them but 1/2 way through you can hear a baby get pecked and a squabble ensues.

Actually, rather than plant bushes in front of your windows, plant tall fast-growing shrubs against your fence to make a very tall dense screen that she cannot see through from her yard. I can think of a lot of plants local to here that would do the trick, but I doubt that oleanders...
They are several years old and a mix of breeds...they are also missing lots of tail feathers but I thought that maybe they were in a small space before...other wise..they are fully feathered. I feed them scratch, layena, some ground corn and soybeans from a local mill and lots of kitchen scraps...
I was graciously gifts some chicken and this one is particularly interesting.
She seems to have a waddle like red cap covering her whole head and going down her neck...any ideas about what breed she is?
THANKS!!!!

Please help us identify these 3 sisters we got out of the local feed store bin....we thought they were Ameracunas or another green/blue egg layer but they are not...help!
THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

When I worked at a restaurant I fed the chickens allot of scraps...mostly from veggie prepping or things about to go bad....they got so they would run to me when they saw the bag. They sure loved it!
Our beloved dog killed a bunch of chickens and finally a rabbit. We worked and found her a new home, she is happy and only 1 of 2 dogs there. Some dogs just cant help themselves...
So sorry for your loss.
