I have 8.5 week old Sultan and polish. I'm pretty sure the polish is an hen but my sultan has me baffled. What do you all think? Sultan (Fluffy) Polish (Puff Daddy)

Lice, it won't go away :(

When we got our chickens they came infested with mites and one with lice. I did 3 treatments of poultry dust on all birds and deep cleaned the coop. Mites are gone but my one gal with the lice is infested still. No one else seems to have them. It was suggested on my FB group to use Adams flea...

    When to expect eggs?

I clipped their wings today, so their attempts to hop the fence to roost flopped. I found them huddled on my table Picked them up and put them in the coop. They have had 5 nights in the coop. I hope they figure it out soon, they are not meaty enough for dinner!!!

    When to expect eggs?

They were not laying when I got them. I don't expect them to lay now, even my girls have slacked off since the new ones arrived. I wonder if their old living conditions made them too stressed to start laying. I hope they adjust soon. I feel so bad for these birds.

Hi there. I'm new to the chicken world. I've had my ladies for a couple months now. I just rescued 3 more last week so were up to 9. I have enjoyed reading these forums so I thought I would join as I have a few questions. This is such a great recourse!!!
