I just recently started a Rabbitry. Any advice would be appreciated and a link to my Facebook page is https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=651111741674275
I mean I don't mind to do the plucking,I just don't have any of the necessary equipment to do so. Like many other people, money is a limited resource to me.
I hang mine up by their feet from a tree limb or something of the sort. I bleed them out, they don't feel anything because of the blood draining. It's kind of like going to sleep, they just don't wake back up
I'm starting a small poultry butchering business and need some help with prices per bird I slaughter. I was wanting to be able to process ducks, geese, turkeys, chickens, and possibly quail and pheasants. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :D
I had Breda roo that died all of sudden last week. 2 days before that he'd stay to him self and look like he was cold. No external injuries except the ones on his feet I had when I first got him. His feet had a small infection in them. Any ideas of how he died?
I have 10 chickens in all. 3 roosters and 7 hens, they are all around 6 months to a year old. I have one very dominate hen. I plan on introducing 2-3 hens of the same age
I have been thinking about introducing some new chickens to my flock. I know that chickens "territorial" having alpha males and females. Any ideas of how I should introduce them?
