Advice on neck having lack of feathers

Please find attached 2 images of a bird I have. His neck feathers have still not grown back through yet and this morning when I went in and picked him up to look I got blood on my hands and on closer inspection (Circled blue on first image) I noticed it was coming from his shoots. Could there...

    Advice on Hens Lump

Thank you, it could be from injury. As when we first but them inside, they had been trying to get bird on the other side through chicken wire and there was blood all over. Obviously from cutting themselves on the wire.

    Advice on Hens Lump

Does anyone have any advice what the lump is circled in blue? It has not always been there I don't think. Could it be from the cock bird. Advice would be welcome

    Cuckoo Ko Shamo

Thanks everyone for your feedback so far. So we have mentioned what could be paired with a KO to get the barring in. Does anyone have any idea what is the best route to take to do the same to an Old English Game Bantam breed? Where would I start and with what birds to produce the following...

    Cuckoo Ko Shamo

What is difference between single and double barred? is it to do with the genes or the pattern of the barring? Sorry for sounding ignorant this is my first attempt. Thanks

    Cuckoo Ko Shamo

Thank you so much for your time and input. Greatly appreciated. One last question I have is does it make any difference that a Dominique is a soft feathered bird and a KO Shamo is a hard feathered bird?

    Cuckoo Ko Shamo

Its slowly starting to make sense :) I understand everything so far haha So the first off spring I get I.E all little brother and sister chicks (will all these come out barred)? If not do I always keep the Cock bird barred when breeding the off spring the couple of times. You say back cross to...

    Cuckoo Ko Shamo

This is the type of style I would be after. So once I cross the Barred Dom Rooster with the black Ko hen and get chicks. What is the next step to bring them back to more pure Ko Shamo but obviously with Cuckoo markings. Would I then take one of the male barred chicks and put them with a pure...

    Cuckoo Ko Shamo

So say I got a barred Dom Bantam / Barred Rock Bantam. Which way round would be best? As in should the bird used to introduce the barred be a cock bird / rooster and the ko Shamo be a hen? if so what colour would be best for a Ko hen if that is the case? Black, White, wheaten? Thanks for your time

    Cuckoo Ko Shamo

Would anyone have any advice how I would be able to create my own Cuckoo Ko Shamo's and what would be the best pairing to start with along with what route I would have to produce the final product.
