Thank you, it could be from injury. As when we first but them inside, they had been trying to get bird on the other side through chicken wire and there was blood all over. Obviously from cutting themselves on the wire.

I will have a proper look at it today when I get up the garden and see whether it is soft / hard as well as look for a black dot Thank you
