I figured that I could post this and see if there is anyone who could give some tips/advice about the layout of my new coop BEFORE I go and build it.
So what do you think? (It's 10'x10', split down the middle at the 5' mark. 1cm = 1')
Poop Boards are a MUST! ;) I've been planning on having the boards sloped so I can scrape them down before raking up in the coop. Poop Boards will also protect where I'm going to place the food gutter. The nesting boxes will end up protecting the waterers from poo off the roosting bars. :D
That's something else that I'm concerned about because the summers can get really hot. I've been toying with the idea of adding an extra bar or two over the nesting boxes to give the ladies options--especially those who will end up on the bottom of the pecking order. But I read somewhere that...
