We have 4 new hatchings this morning. Still 20 or so to go with 12 clears so its pretty crowded in the bator. When should consider taking out the little chicks There is no sign of any others piping yet and they are also 1 day early

Also can I float test them today?

Thank you for your help. I'll punch some more holes in it. I only have one hole the size of a dime now plus a little bit infiltration from were it is not sealed so well around the hole were the turner was inserted.

I have a 16x20 Styrofoam home made bator. I do not know how much ventilation it needs to have for oxygen? Any ideas?

I have a home made styrobator. I made a small hole with a tube in the Styrofoam that allows you to fill the water pan without opening the bator

I'm using the little giant egg turner and to my knowledge it never rests but it takes 4 hrs for a complete side to side movement
