    lost some chickens today to a coyotes! Saw it coming out the window... in daylight! is this unusual ?? It was not afraid of me, I came out the door and stomped and yelled and lost several chickens anyway. Where are those bobcats when you need 'em. It's not going to be a happy count tonight...

    Sorry, but they look like bed bug bites....and it looks bad too!!! Bed bugs have a weird smell when you smoosh 'um they are very hard to get rid of.

    Sitting on a tree I saw a Hawk! The girls were out for the afternoon, but the hawk didn't seem interested in them. What brought my attention to the hawk was the crows were leaving... The hawk moved from limb to limb seeming to find one that could take his weight. Then it gracefully flew off...

    We respect the snakes. The non- poisonous snakes we rehome. we catch them and put them in a pickle bucket, tight lid. I have a favorite place to take them, it's a big hay field about 4 miles from my house, out of their range. the poisonous snakes we dispatch. no reason to take a chance...
