lost some chickens today to a coyotes! Saw it coming out the window... in daylight! is this unusual ?? It was not afraid of me, I came out the door and stomped and yelled and lost several chickens anyway. Where are those bobcats when you need 'em.
It's not going to be a happy count tonight.

So sorry you lost some chickens. It's scary that they didn't even mind you and continued to attack.

They do that when they do not percieve you to be a threat. This time you were not.

I saw one the other day while going to the barn for hay for our goats. He made the mistake of laying there too long. I took him at 225 yards with a hollow point through the noggin....

I saw one last year as I stepped out the front door. She was 40' away and just walking across the yard. She took a hollow point through both lungs.

I don't care to have coyotes around. I took three back during deer season.
