    Raising turkeys around chickens???

    I've heard from some people that turkeys should never be raised around chickens because of diseases but I've also heard different...can someone please clarify this for me...if diseases are a problem what can i do to prevent them??? thanks

    i think it might be the layer mash...when i use to feed my birds mash they would pick out only the grains they wanted and nothing more...which may cause them not to take in the nutrients they need...mash is excellent for laid out birds but i feed all my laying hens crumbles...may need to give...

    Opossum...definitely...to catch it go find some persimmons from a persimmon tree and put it in a trap...if it's a opossum it'll be in the trap the next day ...trust me i used to get paid to catch coons and other rodents when i was a kid
