    Those are great pics! Thanks for sharing. That is so sweet of the Mama hen with her chicks. The birdie I have has only a few tail feathers that are long, not as many feathers as a hen usually has.

    I have never seen a hen with a long tail like hers, she raises it up at times and fans it out, like the look of a turkey tail.

    OH NOOO I think it's a wonderful thing to celebrate! I new at this and I remember there was a lot to watch for and be careful about in those early days.
